Kenneth Deeb, MD, FACEP

Dr. Ken Deeb graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. He also completed post-graduate training in Louisville. He began practicing in his first three years in a Family Medicine Practice while, at the same time, practicing full time Emergency Medicine and has now spent over 31 years in the pursuit of Emergency Medicine as a full time career. He transferred to the DFW Metroplex in 1990 in a senior management role with a large national staffing and recruiting organization in the Emergency Medicine field, Spectrum Healthcare Services, Inc., at that time the nation’s largest provider of Physician Services outside of the United States Government , a subsidiary of ARAMARK, Inc., a multi-national corporation based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Deeb is board certified in Emergency Medicine, a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has been certified multiple times as an Instructor and Provider in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. During his distinguished career, he has served in two senior administrative roles in the emergency medical field. He served as Regional Medical Director, and later Regional Vice President of Medical Affairs, for Spectrum Healthcare Services and more recently, he served as Regional Medical Director to the Southwest Region of EmCare. Several years ago after practicing full time hospital based Emergency Medicine for approximately 25 years, Dr. Deeb left the hospital setting to join other colleagues with City Hospital Emergency Care Center. He has served as the Medical Director to several of the facilities for City Hospital Emergency Care Center. Dr. Deeb is married to his wife Colleen, a Nurse Practitioner. They have four children. Holly, David, Melissa and Matt. They reside in Frisco, Texas.
